What would members think about adding a Live Chat feature on TERB??

My understanding is that chat is no longer available since the laws have been changed. There are too many ways for LE to use it to bust clients. So while the competition may be doing things one way, I appreciate that Fred does things the safe way.
I haven't been here long enough to sense the kind of personality this board has. I do know that I have received more grumpy & rude comments than the other place, but maybe that's not representative of what the board is like. I would like to have more fun here... maybe I haven't met the right people yet...
I remember that explanation and it makes as little sense now as it did then.
Anyway, I think what sets the 411 chat apart from other chatrooms is that it's part of each page on the site, rather than being a separate window. You. can navigate the site and not lose the chatroom or have to keep flipping back to the other window
I think we've all read every single thread you've started since day one, including the "haggle" thread when you weren't even a paid advertiser and claim you weren't advertising at the time, when in reality you were.... Just trying to do it under the table. Like when I sent you a PM and you replied with your rates & restrictions and also your free website info!

Personally I don't think its the terb community, I think it's you, just no one wants to be honest and tell you the truth. We don't care about the other board, we don't care how much you think your time is worth, and your Post are annoying. There used to be Lady Raven here, some what annoying from time to time, but that's just my opinion. You on the other hand .... A whole new level.

Well put...lol to the hashtag hunTo be honest I think it comes down to the Mods and Fred. They take a hands-off approach here, maybe slapping our wrists when we get out of line but basically they don't stick their noses in like on the other board. Over there, just about everybody and their cat is a Mod now.
There are things I prefer on the other board...no 60 second delay between searches, larger PM allowance for instance....but overall this is a better place to be. Kind of like having dinner at a nice quiet restaurant versus eating at McDonalds and being surrounded by children...

Apart from a few people like you, I have dozens of people pm me saying they enjoy the content I provide and to disregard the 'assholes'.
If getting my name known through posting threads and joining conversations was against the rules someone would have booted me.
Before being a paid advertiser (only 1 month), I never talked on the public board about my services, rates or anything specific at all. If contacted me by pm, I directed them to google. I don't make a habit of talking any specifics on ANY board because of LE. You sound like a jealous SP under another identity.
Maybe we should ask the other people if they also hate my posts and my participation here....
This, plus the Mods can't hang out in chat 24/7 and it's too easy for trolls to abuse the chat room for outings, harassment, etc. ...
People on the other board are in danger of being outed all day, every day. Terb is much safer.

And it would be nice to be able to make your own chat name independent of your Terb name. I miss the chat as well
