Wrapped up Pluribus. I enjoyed it and thought it was a neat premise executed on well, but slowly. Not interesting if you want action or set pieces. I love the playboy character— he’s got the right idea.

Currently working through the Adventure Time spinoff: Fiona and Cake. Yes I’m a stoner millennial, how could you tell? Very high quality animation and it respects and builds off of the original series.

I rejoined the Tommy Chong fan club to tolerate my cancer medication. I can't drink alcohol, doesn't jibe with the medication, not enthused about kidney dialysis. It seems Pluribus was too slow for most people, stuck with it due to Rea Seehorn.

Watching re-runs of E.R., forgot how great a show it is, so realistic, great ensemble cast.
If you loved ER, check out "The Pitt" starring Noah Wyle.

Gritty emergency room action, without the humour and romance of ER.

Second Season starts Jan. 8.

from Wikipedia

The Pitt is an American medical procedural drama television series created by R. Scott Gemmill, and executive produced by John Wells and Noah Wyle. It is Gemmill, Wells and Wyle's second collaboration, having previously worked together on ER. It stars Wyle, Tracy Ifeachor, Patrick Ball, Katherine LaNasa, Supriya Ganesh, Fiona Dourif, Taylor Dearden, Isa Briones, Gerran Howell, and Shabana Azeez. The series follows emergency department staff as they attempt to overcome the hardships of a single 15-hour work shift at the fictional Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Center all while having to navigate staff shortages and underfunding. Each episode of the season covers approximately one hour of the work shift.

The Pitt premiered on Max (later rebranded as HBO Max) on January 9, 2025. The series has received acclaim from critics for its performances, writing, direction, format, and realism. The series has also been praised by the medical community for its accuracy, realistic portrayal of healthcare workers, and addressing the psychological challenges faced in a post-pandemic world. The Pitt was renewed for a second season in February 2025 and is slated to premiere on January 8, 2026.

The series has received several accolades with the first season winning five awards at the 77th Primetime Emmy Awards, including Outstanding Drama Series, Casting, and acting wins for Wyle, LaNasa and recurring guest star Shawn Hatosy. Additionally, it was listed as one of the ten best television programs by the American Film Institute in 2025.

Finished the Mighty Nein. Next animated from the Critical Role group after a successful Vox Machina. New Characters setting and story. As usual funny with great animation and good backstory exposition on the characters.

Finishing up Stranger Things today after a noon showing of Avatar.

Also finished Sandman.

Not sure what's next. SO has a list.

I liked Pluribus. Vince Gilligan starts series slow to build our love of the characters.

Vince Gilligan often combines stunning scenery and unforgettable lines to conclude an episode.

Who can ever forget one of the heroes leaving South America by saying to the old woman, You aren’t my mother. My mother is a bitch.

It got my attention when Vince Gilligan revealed that the show was inspired by The Twilight Zone. Three episodes spawned Pluribus: Third From the Sun, To Serve Man and A Nice Place to Live.

Peacemaker is great but the Zionists hate James Gunn. They are still but hurt that one of their own, Zac Snyder, got the DCU taken away from him. The bitter reality is Man of Steel made me shit out my heart, I couldn't be bothered to watch the rest of his kaka after that. James Gunn went back to basics with the new Superman. Like Christopher Reeve, David Corensweat is a Julliard graduate, Gunn's Superman was great fun. And Corensweat is Jewish, let the Zionists shut their pie-holes.

Of course the new Running Man was going to suck ass, you can't reboot an Arnold film without Arnold. I wasn't buying the hype that Glen Powell was the new Brando.

Writer/Producer Jeffrey Katzenberg speaks the truth.

Please educate yourself on the term "Zionist" before making such ignorant remarks. (A person can be a Zionist and be against what is going on now in Israel.)

Ignorant really? This isn't the place for a political discussion, bring this up in the politics section and I will be happy to take you apart.

Zionist director Zack Snyder cast an IDF sniper as Wonder Woman. And don't get me started on 300.

This isn't the place to make ignorant comments that have nothing to do with a discussion of a show.

I'll debate you anywhere as long as you take the time to do some research.
