Don't forget Strauss, Concerto, JIL, Citizen, Goldstar(now LG).WoodPeckr said:Armiral!?!?!?
While Admiral is a fine company, I'll stick with Emerson....
IMHO Sony has always been overpriced relative to quality.squash500 said:IMHO Sony has always been number 1.
I could not agree with you more , the best bang for buck with excellent pictureRadio_Shack said:Which is best? Well it's all dependant on if price is an issue. If your looking for best value in an lcd I think Insignia is best bang for the buck.
Maybe time will prove differently, but all my research prior to buying a TV said that dead pixels are there when you buy your TV. They are not something that develop over time.tboy said:Yeah, read your fine print what they consider to be warranty repairable. Many limit the number of dead pixels that have to be present before work will be covered under warranty.
Yes they can.Tangwhich said:Maybe time will prove differently, but all my research prior to buying a TV said that dead pixels are there when you buy your TV. They are not something that develop over time.
Yup, pixels can go at any time. I know many people who have 1 or 3 dead pixels on their LCD. I think one is an LG and they said they need....10? (i think it's 10) before they will consider replacing the panel........The Bandit said:Yes they can.
Yeah, I have sworn off ALL LG products and advise everyone accordingly. Reason why: I built a media PC, with a blu ray DVD player, bought Ironman 2 disc set, put it in, needed a update to play, the site was down, called LG and their response was "we have no control over the software and can't help you". I said "your name is ALL over the software and you provide it with YOUR equipment and is needed in order to use YOUR equipment. Without the software your equipment is nothing more than a BRICK".skyfire said:I bought an LG....biggest mistake...nothing but problems! To top it off...there is basically one year warranty which barely gives enough time for problems to manifest themselves!
