I'm hoping some of you guys would be able to give some recomendations on things to do this long weekend. A short trip somewhere to get away from regular life.
I had plans, but my friends have bailed on me so now I have 4 days off with no plans. Any suggestions (probably by myself)..

Thanks..

1) book with your favorite girl
2) visit a different agency or massage parlor
3) go to the Beach and check out the babes
4) the Rotary Rib Fest at Centennial Park is always good for beer and babes
5) find a patio and park your ass
6) drive to Ottawa, taking 7 rather than the 401 / 116

fly to vegas get marrried and divorce the next day.

Drive to NYC and take advantage of the extra 11% tourists get at the big department stores

Thanks for the suggestions so far:

Originally I was supposed to go camping, but nobody bothered to tell me until last night that it's not happening!
And yes, I've got Monday and Tuesday off.
I kinda like the idea of going to Ottawa. I'll mull that over a bit. I definitely want to get away though. I need some time away from the city!

Hit cresent st, any club there is hot.....I've never not had a good time at Thursdays but any will do. They close off the street to vehicular traffic and last time I was there Corona was having a promo with half naked women dancing everywhere and cheap corona flowing like the st lawrence.....

Merci tboy.

That's the extent of my french btw.....but to the OP - why go to boring Ottawa when you could spice up things in montreal?

I thought that Ottawa would be pretty boring till until I came up here for a few days. Check out the Byward Market and Elgin St. for nightlife. Its not Montreal but I was impressed. Plus plenty of attractions here.

Canada Day is on Tuesday.
Many companies (mine included) have opted to take Monday as the holiday instead so the workers get a long weekend.

If the weather co-operates, Brazilian bikini on Cherry beach or Poulson pier or harbourfront and people watch. Queen Street at the Black Bull pub to watch people again, but no bikini there. Maybe up to Yorkville sit on a patio again. Possibly watch the mahem that will be the pride parade..LOL

I think what I am trying to say is I will stay in Toronto and enjoy this city.
