I've matured a bit since my last choice, but not much. I would now like this song to be played as the credits for my life are scrolling.

Only this will do. I expect 2 suns to set at the same time too!

Had a bride at her wedding the organist when she appeared started the Darth Vader Theme. They place broke up knowing her.

Then the old standard started.

I think I want to have my ashes trotted down the aisle to it.

Btw I always thought that Sinatra's signature song was "You Make me Feel So Young"

Funny you should say that, my esteemed colleague.

I always thought The Chairman's signature song was 'The Best is Yet To Come"...

...as that's what's engraved on his headstone.

"Out of the tree of life I just picked me a plum.....!"

I like the way you think. I want the same thing, people should celebrate my life. I discussed this with one of my friends and she refuses to throw a party for my funeral. I'll just have to get other people on board lol. God willing no one has to think about it for a very long time.
NO QUESTION!! We're going celebratory, not maudlin. Hey got some shit done in my life. Dress code- the worst hawaiian shirts people can find. Then...OPEN FUCKING BAR. Crank it up until the following dawn. Then, one of the first guys I'll meet in the afterlife will provide the music...Warren Zevon...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lP5Xv7QqXiM (Lawyers, Guns, and Money) lol...then...

Followed by this for the sentimental types....
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6dscsGRjpxk (Keep me in your heart for a while)

Then we open the bar with this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uz1Jwyxd4tE (The Hives "Hate to say I told you so")...

Then we continue w some soca...https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pTL-2o8Mzjo krosfyah...pump me up...

And stir......lol

A little bit of this:

A little bit of that:

And perhaps a dash of this:

Having done that, as an OP stated, my Will has instructions for a party full of debauchery for my friends lots of drink, great food, Hard Rock and Metal. I hope they have fun! It's the least I could do. Maybe they will stop thinking I was a cheap bastard!

My family is very religious which I am decidedly not. They will balk at my initial request. John Lennon: Imagine.
I will confuse them with Bill Bourne: Ole Buffalo.
Fool them with Leonard Cohen: Hallelujah
They will leave early thinking the Lord's work is done.

Then the party can start with Tom Cochrane: Life is a Highway and No Regret......
After that: it's YOUR party, you can do what you want to.

There will be plenty of songs played(there are many party playlists on my hardrive and there will be many more by the time I snuff it). I dont want any funeral parlor shit. Just a party...food, drink, music(there must be a kick ass sound system) and dancing. This song absolutely needs to be played...it's one of my favourite tunes!! Q Lazzarus- Goodbye Horses

Only one choice for me. Played over and over and over.

He was a great accordionist!

I don't know what would be my funeral song but I have a friend who told me that his Will specifies that this song be played:
