What single factor makes an SP relevant in today's competitive market?

Honestly I would say it's looks. But the truly gorgeous model/actress sp's (don't kid yourself, they are out there) don't tend to advertise in a traditional way. In fact they may not consider themselves sp's in the conventional sense, but they are still offering companionship for money or gifts, only with a limited clientele. Even the 300/400$ sps that advertise on Eros are almost never reviewed. At the stage that you are on the radar on Terb, I think it becomes a service/price equation, with looks being less of a factor.

In other words, the results of this poll say more about the membership of Terb, than the sp marketplace at large.

Your right, because the sp I was referring to, in my post, did not advertise at all and I saw only her for over a year.

All of the above are important, perhaps the least important is "Presence on Social Media," but for me all of them are important.

Interesting phenomenon these days though - an increasing number of SP websites, particularly indy sites, now have a dedicated selfie section in their gallery which is updated frequently. Wondering, now that guys are getting used to being able to browse a lady's Twitter account or website to get a recent take on the SP's physical appearance, what would happen if SPs suddenly stopped posting selfies? I suspect we'd all realize just how much we take this new type of access for granted and all start groaning and begging for ladies to bring them back. (E.G. Jenn McQueen's twitter account came down awhile back and I went through heavy withdrawal pain in the absence of her regular selfie updates! :Cry: )

Looks are important, but they mean nothing if she has lousy service, and a lousy attitude.

Reliability is another one. If she keeps cancelling on her clients, that's bad for business.

Think it has to be a combination of factors mainly attractiveness , services and personality especially with the experienced hobbyist, I could see how looks keep some SP relevant but their clients mostly consist of inexperienced guys who's just looking for a quick release.
My views has certainly change since I started seeing SPs about 3 years ago,I started doing only HH sessions and could care less about carrying a conversation with them then I meet this SP who was quite attractive and charming and she would encourage me to hang around indulge in chit chat after the deed was done. She became my first repeat,regular and 30mins+ SP (she's moved on to other interest since ).
I think without a combo of most of the attributes listed I would decline a return visit,
reliability is high too as I have sometime cancel an appointment when I'm made to wait past the schedule time of the appointment (20mins or longer)
Cancellation on the part of the lady is somewhat acceptable as long as it done 2+hrs ahead.
Pricing to a lesser degree cause i don't mind paying extra if I think she's worth the time.
Availability? I find girls who's available 24/7 way less appealing and won't not consider even a phone call or text.
Menu depth ? Not so much for me since there some thing I'm not comfortable doing

For me? Its the entire package. A girl's good looks/ fit body will grab my attention, but her attitude will KEEP me interested. The correspondence process before even meeting is as important as the session itself. This is probably why I gravitate towards indies. It builds anticipation, and sets the tone for the session itself.

I agree. It's a fine line being professional and showing you affection at the same time. if it's reached in this narrow window it's bliss. It is extremely rare and almost impossible to find. Personality is what I put, but as others have echoed it's a combination of everything.

I would rate in order of decreasing importance:
1) personality match. Most are looking for an escape and to unwind and destress. The most annoying thing is spending time paying for someone you don't want to be around. A shared sense of humour goes a long way along with same tastes in music, film, and other arts. There is nothing more sexy than a woman who knows how to politely banter away with you and debate all manner of topics. A similar level of educational background helps.
2) affection or illusion of affection. Obviously I kind of enjoy it if they really remember what was discussed at the previous session. It personalizes the experience in what is not really a personal service. It also establishes intimacy. I was most amazed and touched by the escorts who remembered everything from the previous session. These ladies have definitely distinguished themselves.
3) professionalism, service quality and consistency. I am going to take some heat for this but I honestly prefer girls advertised and reviewed as safe only if I am getting Gfe pse. I think reliability goes in here too. If I am getting a lot more mileage it's a privilege and I know that there is at least an element of our encounter that is special. Reliability I'd lump in here too. My time is valuable and they should respect my time, especially given that I am the customer.
4) sexy flirty communications that is genuine or at least comes off that way. Ok, I'll admit it, most of the time I am bored at work and it's a breath of fresh air when an escort emails me out of the blue letting me know she's thinking about me and wondering when were going to meet next. Flirty emails, tweets, or other forms of discrete contact. Saying she's fantasizing about our next meeting out of the blue. I know on a few occasions these unsolicited contacts were motivated by more than "marketing" and came from genuine interest. I've always looked for almost a mistress like relationship so this kind of stuff makes me smile.
5) looks. As long as they are attractive I think it's fine. I see a few ladies that are 10/10 but my ATF was an 7.5-8/10 for the aforementioned reasons. She was the whole package.
6) price. Luckily no escort is beyond my price range but like any guy I prefer value. In this industry price does not in any way correlate with service, looks, or reliability.

It's entirely dependent on intangibles like the above which can be summarized with "chemistry". keep it light, flirty, and just a fun fantasy. . My advice to sps: the trick is make it seem like real affection without letting it become real affection for either party.

Reliability is also a HUGE factor.
