What is your annual budget for the hobby?

This hobby is a luxury. There is no right or wrong answer for the budget and how much people spend depends on their willingness to spend on companionship and how much income they have. Someone could spend a 100 grand and have the same subjective net personal experience.
Anyways I just think a thread like this just might rub people off the wrong way maybe if you had a poll it be better ?

So how do I poll it better? I know the ulra rich just call their secreatary. They are not on this board. I think I am in the median of this board.
Creat a poll for members to vote on, something like:
- Under $5k
- $5k-$15k
- $15k-$25k
- $25k-$40k
- $40k-$60k
- Over $60k
Really depends on my mood.
There are times where I spent about 1k a week. And there are times where I spent 0 over 6 months.

Tough question to answer! Less than divorce, but I keep an eye out for how I much spent versus what I can buy for retail therapy... (eg. alcohol, hockey, stuff, clothes, etc.). I love shit too like watches, tools and gear.
Maybe I'll return to be a car guy; one where I have a BEAST of a car in my driveway that I fuck around on. I'll give up SPs then. Horsepower brings joy too.

I’ve been curious about others’ budgets, too, knowing full well comparisons are not valid given people’s different financial statuses and frequency of desire to hobby.
I’d say mine right now is about $3,000 U.S., covering one annual 3-day trip to Tijuana and about five weekend excursions to GTA.
When I have access to my retirement accounts in about 5 years I’m planning on increasing that to between $10,000 to $15,000 a year.
I’m fortunate, after 30 years of saving and investing, that I’ll be able to pay my kids’ entire college tuition costs and make sure they’re taken care of financially. I don’t have a significant other, don’t expect to get one and sure the hell will NEVER get married again. I also have few other interests other than exercising, so I expect that will leave me with a lot of money to monger.
It sure beats golf.

I could get the budget down if I could bring myself to let one go. But they are both keepers. The one I see every week is $60.00 so there is no way she is coming off the roster.

No budget, but ebbs and flows, can be as much as $10-20k some months and zero other months. So a wide range, but averages about to $25-50k per year?
