I've paid somethig over 30 Euros for a ham and cheese sandwich.
Not including the flight!
Was a deli bocadillo made with Jamon Iberico Pata Negra de Bellota and Macheco cheese in the Barcelona Mercat de la Boqueria. Over 100 Euro per kg. Was so rich that my gf and I couldn't even eat half of it. But OMG was it so good. TBH, this grade of jamon is better wtihout bread, without cheese. Just thin chips of this incredible cured ham is a savoury luxury like no other.

If you're ever in Vermont on route 100 going through the village of Warren make sure to stop at the Warren Store for a "sammy". Reasonable and delicious.

I tried the $100 waygu sandwich in Jtown during covid. It didn’t move the needle.
I love a good sandwich from Lambo in Leslieville if I’m out that way. Under $20 and it’s terrific.

This place - The Spanish Pig, seems to have this ham, you mentioned. Not sure though if 50 bucks for 50g is reasonable though.I've paid somethig over 30 Euros for a ham and cheese sandwich.

@Kautilya It's expensive over here. Only got approved for importation into Canada maybe 5 years ago IIRC. They have it at the St Lawrence Market for a bit less.

Two slices of light rye with Swiss cheese and corned beef, maybe $15. Two meaty labia with a clit in between, I've been known to pay over $200.
