I like various kinds of gambling. I've noticed that Bitcoin games have started to appear more often. I was interested in this since I invested in Bitcoin. I bought a large sized laptop. Paid for with my "quit smoking" savings as a reward. Once my desktop is done I won't buy another one. Just another laptop for the SO.

Considering how quickly computers need to be replaced desktops aren't worth it. Spend the extra for the laptop and make it all purpose.

Or buy a desktop and upgrade components as required. Just don't cheap out on the motherboard and you should be good for years.

I need the portability for work, for vacation(so we can watch movies), and so I can be in different parts of the house. SO has taken over the office as she is fulltime home for work now. And they supplied her with a dedicated computer and dual screens.

Its easier to just buy a new one every 5-6 years.
