I recommend going to this place.
There are over 50 premium beers on tap!

It's an interesting list but the owners sure have their favorite countries. Outside of Europe and Canada, nothing else seems to matter.

If you want to spend some time in a beer pub that will test your taste buds, try West 50 in the Novatel near Square One in Mississauga. They even give you a passport to keep track of your journey.

My initial visit involved their tater pack, 6 6oz. samplers of your choice. a good way to and not leave your bar stool or bench.

Surprised nobody has said Czechvar, always sold out pretty quickly when a shipment comes in. I like the Mill St beers as well, usually pick up the variety pack when I see it on sale.

Thanks for bringing this thread back. Ray Finkel's post on the first page was pretty funny. I'm having a Cameron's Lager right now, and it's really good.

Barking Squirrel brewed by Hop City is a local beer avail at most LCBO's. Won some international awards.. It's great.

Beer is enjoyed best when it doesn't have to be purchased from a calvinist entity from the prohibition era like the LCBO or a grungy warehouse where you lineup to order your sub-par merchandise like in the Soviet Union AKA Brewer's Retail.

The Craft Brewers of Ontario are offering tasters packs through the LCBO, offering 6 different brews from various small brewers. It's agreat intro to some beers you might not initially try.

Stone Hammer Pilsner. Paddy's Irish Red, Dead Elephant IPA, Cameron Dark 266, Black Creek Pale Ale and Nickelbrook Organic Lager were excellent intros. ^ more later this week. Gotta study for the Festival.

So drive to the Brewerys then and but from them directly. Who cares who's selling it. The brewers still have to give their share to the government
