What do you think about circumcision?

I'm uncircumcised and I'm very anal (no pun intended) about cleaning under my foreskin. I'm also very studious about exfoliating my scrotum too. Dead ball skin smells pretty bad. I have never had a partner that took any offence.

Had huge arguments with the MIL when my kids were born. I didn't have any sons but the discussion always came up. The ignorance was always too much and the conversation always ended unnecessarily heated. Same bullshi1t argument about cleanliness and potential for infection. On my God, she would get wild about it. Going off about how the FIL isn't but all the BIL's were. I asked if the FIL needed a lesson on how to clean his c0ck as she was obviously deriving her experience from him.


Uncut dudes, clean your junk proper. All dudes, shave and exfoliate your sack. It's just the nice thing to do.

I watched a documentary on Netflix about it a while back. One of the guys was so pissed his parents had him cut without permission as a baby he ended committing suicide. (The guy at the end of trailer with the black long sleeve shirt in apartment)

I have a friend who is Jewish with sons, and he didn't get them circumcised. I don't think it went over to well with the extended family but him and wife weren't haven't it. They felt it was to barbaric and pointless.

Thoughts on circumcision: Jesus, as a Galilean Jew was certainly circumcised. If his body were entirely resurrected from the dead, wouldn't that include the divine foreskin? Some Christian scholars contend Jesus only became divine after immersion by John the Baptist, which avoids the messy foreskin issue...

BTW, the Third Reich was also intensely interested in who was and wasn't circumcised - just saying...

I also think it's interesting how many people that are against trans therapies in teens are pro-circumcision. I guess some "irreversible elective proceedures" they're actually all on board for. Hypocrisy at it's finest.

Spot on. We think that foreskin is just a dirty place but labia harbour just as much junk as foreskin does. I have met more than a few women that didn't know how to clean themselves properly and would have smegma build up after bathing.

Agree that routine circumcision has no place for babies, however equating to FGM is false. Most forms of fgm are analogous to cutting off the glans of the penis.

Where do you derive the correlation between pro circumcised and anti trans therapies?

Female circumcision is much worse and done for completely different reasons.

However, I do agree that children should not be unnecessarily circumcised. When they are adults they can make their own decisions.
