to treat a head cold, if your sinuses are all stuffed up, put a drop or two of hydrogen peroxide in your ear and let in roll down inside. it sounds wierd but i swear it works to relieve sinus congestion/ pressure and within 2 days you should be back to normal.

Make sure you're hydrated and take it all! LOL
Usually for me it's Vitamin C (about 500 mgms) with a couple of Day Quils and a Nyquil chaser. I do that every 8 hours for 2 days and ta dah! Cold symptoms gone!
