Got to Venezuela, Colombia, CR, Panama, Nicaragua or Brazil and you can easily get a permanent residence status there. You can buy a condo for dirt cheap but you cant work, thats the only catch. You have to show some type of income, however.
Find a good emigration lawyer and he'll help you. You can also just live there 6 months out of the year and then return to Toronto for the summer.

Also from what I hear Castro is on his last legs. He is living on borrowed time and could kick the bucket at any given moment.
When he does croak his successor will likely bring in reforms which means you can pick up real estate for dirt cheap. Something to ponder on for the future.

CR for sure. But you really have to know the place to not get ripped off on real estate, they feed on gringo's LOL.

The Venezuelans I met in Arbuba, which is only a very short plane ride from Venezuela, did suggest to me that never travel there alone, security problem. It's just too bad, considering the number of pretty women that country pumps out. BTW Venezuela won the most titles so far in Miss. Universe beauty contest, that tells something their ladies.

The same security issue goes for Columbia, friends and dancers I know from Columbia do not recommend visiting their homeland. Local Columbianas are pretty much into man made though. Most sp's there go the artificial route.

I have been to Panama a few times now, their fair skin ladies do not impress me. Now if you are into darker skin muchachas, the few dancers/sp I met there were just amazing : exotic looks, smooth milk chocolate skin, tall with slim legs , but with nice T & A. Those babies got back , but not like the huge ones in USA, and they have small waist. I am usually into fair skin beauties, but they did get my heart pumping, real fast.

hmmm, Panama isn't that far from where I'll be. Maybe I'll have to make a detour sometime.

Naturally, I'll post some 'nam results after the first encounter. I'll probably be overwhelmed after the first tour, so I'll head back home straight away. IIRC we spend a night in Paramirabo on the way in / out, so at least I'll get a look around. Once comfortable with safety, I'll see about a week's rest down there.

If it works out, the week won't be rest at all and naturally I'll wind up staying longer. Looking around the net shows that it should be a chocolate lover's delight, with East Indians as the largest ethnic group, followed by mixed.

I'm going to Panama in 2 weeks and that place is crawling with beautiful women.
