I prefer to get large bills from the teller (50s and 100s). If it's from an ATM, I'm restricted to 20s and if lucky, some 50s included.

If I'm seeing someone for 2 hours say @ $250 an hour, I'll bring 5 x $100s. Tips are smaller denominations. If I'm going to a spa, I will try to include 100s, 50s and 20s, to minimize the amount of bills.

Btw there are certain amounts that will yield $50s from an ATM. Different for each bank. Best to google it for your bank.

I withdrew $400 today from TD ATM, and got half in $50s.

I always use Canadian money but my foreign affairs advisor DrStronglove insists some of the leading agencies and MPs will take US currency. Do any of the leading agencies, Indys, or MPs accept US money at a reasonable exchange rate?

I believe that a couple agencies may offer an exchange rate (possibly TP?), but as far as I know, most independent providers probably won't offer an exchange rate. If you're that concerned about the exchange rate, get some Canadian money at a bank or currency exchange, and pay with that instead.

Kinda mix it up...so a 500 date maybe 1 x 100, 6 x 50's, and 5 x 20's so she has at least something to spend easy without worrying about a clerk telling her she can't break a 100...

I strictly use large bills, $100 or $50. It makes it easier for the SP to count the money.

If a bank isn't within the vicinity of the SP's incall, sadly, I resort to an ATM's $20 bills.

I always bring in 25 rolls of quarters. That's easy enough to count.
