So much heartache could've been avoided if only I had more patience. This applies to business, personal life, friendship etc.

Another regret is giving into fear. Such a fckn debilitating feeling. I can't turn back time, so I can only live the rest of my life making better decisions and not letting fear rule my life.

I wish I had listened to everyone who told me that a side job I had was dead end that I was wasting my time with.

I never look life's decisions as regrets, rather I look at it as opportunities for improvement. I have friends and acquaintances who dwell on past decisions and it affects their ability to move forward. The past is the past, nothing you can do will change it. Just make sure it doesn't cast a negative light on the now and future or it will simply add to the list.

So very true, what would we do if we had no fear. While corporate bullshit, "Who Moved My Cheese?" ended up being one of the better books I read on this.

I used to think in terms of ‘regrets’ when I was younger.

When you get older, hopefully your perspective changes. Things happened FOR me and not TO me.

I, like everyone else, had a fair share of disappointments, awful decisions, and pain. But you just eventually stop trying to tightly control everything, let go, go with the flow, and learn from everything. To truly learn.

Part of that learning is to realize you’re still going to fuck up & make bad decisions as you get older lol you just learn the best you can and not take everything so seriously.

Getting my degree. I haven't used it since, and could have used the money (and time) to help fund my business so much earlier. I figure I lost 6 years worth of time. 4 for the degree, and 2 years to pay off the student loans.

Realizing that I didn't need my mother's approval; i.e., for the woman I am with, the house I buy, the job I have, and the friends I keep. I spent too many years thinking if I achieved more and more, my mother would love me more. It took the death of my father to realize that I needed to live for me and not for someone else's approval.
