Correction. Chuck Berry was not on that flight. It was J.P.Richardson, known as the Big Bopper, famous for the hit song, Chantilly Lace. Also, Waylon Jennings was supposed to be on that flight but gave up his seat for someone else. The famous song by Don McLean, Bye Bye American Pie,was, supposedly about their demise.
