That time signature is so wierd. Syncopation on the 3rd but not 6th then back again on the 13th and then clean. That's just crazy! Put guitar tracks on this and it's almost Prog!
The beat is off time (on purpose). Try tapping your foot 1234 now do it but stop for a sec at 3 then continue and repeat except on 4 this time and Viola. Off time. Understand?

Hmmmm I'm following the instructions and doing the tapping as you described....please be patient since I ain't no musician (yet) lol.
You'll get the hang of it. There are some good instructional vids on yt with chord structure and time signatures. Practice Practice!

Ok whiteshaft I know you are humoring me with hear the time signature. In other words you aren't hearing it. So whe will try an obvious one. Really easy! Rush Subdivisions. Listen to the drumming and nothing else and try to keep the beat with your foot (easier than your hand).
