Sad news. Kris Kristofferson passed away at 88 years old. As a Rhodes scholar, he decided, against his parents wishes and entered into the musical world and became one of the very best songwriters of all time and a singer of of his own music. Songs such as Sunday Morning Coming Down, For The Good Times,etc. And of course Me And Bobby Mcgee, Gord Lightfoot's biggest hit and IMO, Janicé Joplins's terrible cover of that song. I remember seeing the Highwaymen, Kris, Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings and Willie Nelson appearing on TV years ago which I thought was super, except for Willie. He will be missed.
