the original might not be up your alley ....an R&B ballad by Erma Franklin..but you may like Janis
My one exception of her recordings was her version of Kris Kristoffersons Me And Bobby McGee. I realize that this was a huge hit for her,however, being an old fart and a big Gordon Lightfoot fan, I always preferred his style of that song.

my dear Terb Friend IV...its Huddie ....my late father owned a couple of yellow coloured 75.s...which are now in my collection......the music is a little arcane for me....but if i had to be subjected to Page ripping off a Blues Giant..i would puke into my mouth

Never a fan of the group, however, Robert Plant, now in his mid 70s is still doing recordings in particular with Allison Kraus whose music I just love and his voice is quite good. They have done, I believe a couple of albums which are great, IMO.
