This is where the pricing structure comes in. If they ask for a nude reverse session for example, then the customer knows how much money they will have to pay the attendant. There should be an owner on site at all times who is there, in case there is trouble with a customer. If the ladies know what kind of massage they are performing, then the service would be there, and there should be no argument over money. You run into trouble when a client says he will pay a certain amount of $$, thinking he will receive certain things during a massage, and then after decides that it was not up to his expectations. If there is an agreement beforehand, then you probably wouldn't run into customers ripping you off.

Have you tried massaging elderly gentlemen on a table? Have you tried doing alot of anything on a table? Futons work very well, you don't fall off.

I haven't tried massaging an elderly gentleman on a table, but I have massaged gorgeous women on a massage table!!! If I get a nude reverse massage, then part of the session is for me to massage the lady. Real massage tables are great. They are built for comfort, and they are high off the ground, so that the massager does not hurt his/her back trying to bend over. You also don't have to be on your knees, or sitting down on the mattress and turning sideways to massage. Massage tables are expensive, but in the long run, they add so much to the spa.

I don't think the pricing structure is too high at all. You could get a 30 min nude reverse for $100 total. This means, $40 at the door and $60 to the lady in the room. I've read posts where people in this area are paying $60 at the door, and then upwards of $80-$100 in the room for what they called a "glorified handjob". That is definitely way too high......add to that the condition of the MP (no showers etc) and when you compare it, the pricing is too high. If you lowered the prices and stuck to a price list for massages, quality would go up, price would go down, but the MP and the ladies would make more $$$. And that folks, is why MP's operate in the first place, NO?

Thanks for responding Demi......I always appreciate someone telling their side of the story. But to tell you the truth, it looks to me like this is an ownership problem. Too many owners won't pony up the dough to run a decent establishment. You even said yourself that you can only work with "what you have". These owners buy these places, put in the minimum amount of $$$, and they don't take care of their ladies....they treat them like crap, and take most of the money that comes in during a massage. The girls are left with hardly anything, yet they are the ones that have to do the massaging.......anyway, just some thoughts.

At Marilyn's - 1/2 hour is $50, 1 hour is $80 - the ladies do not make any of this money and there is no minimum -pardon the word "tipping" and alot of the customers are not high tippers, due to the location, the economy in Brantford is a little below Toronto
As for the owner, from his side he is a very smart business man, low overhead, bigger profit, isn't that what a business is supposed to be, a money maker? The ladies on the other hand, are the ones providing the service, bringing in the customers and making the service a delight. The owner can also see from the weekly income, why change things, it's working. The ladies earn not too bad money, some weeks are different than others, so we must be doing well with what we have.
You must spend money to make money, hopefully the owner will put the $$ up for a shower but at this point in time, it is not on his agenda. Thanks for your input, smile and have a great day, now, off to my second job at Marilyn's - come on in!!

I agree with the earlier posts that 50 is way to high for a half hour. Seems the prices are 20 more than anywhere else, and by the sounds of it the ammenities are just not there. I'll pay 30 for a half hour stay in hamilton, get a massage on a massage table then have a shower afterwards in the stall provided in the room...but that's just my two cents.

Door Fee

I agree 100% with Vincevega, 50.00 door for is outragous.

I also can go to hamilton (now just 10 - 15mins donw the road) door fees are 30 - 35 for 1/2 hr. You know what your are going to get up front, and you can have a shower afterward.

Until the door fee gets back to 30 something I won't be back.

Until then tell the owner to keep counting his profit, because it WILL decrease when people realize and start visiting other, nicer locations for cheaper!

From a consumer point of view this is a good thing as I found my money goes further when there is no middle man

guys i've got to say after thinking about this post you fellows in brantford must be crazy to pay the 50$ a half hour rate. I just came back from a hamilton massage and i must say WOW. It is more than worth the drive into hamilton. All in all i'm out a 90$ donation.....and i'm still speachless.

Showers

I would not like to go to a mp without showers. Would you like to be the fourth person in a day to get a body slide from a girl who probably hasn't had a shwoer since the night before. Yuck !
Not for me. How plesant it must be for her to massage a guy in the evening, after he had beans for lunch. Yuck. Then you are the next one to get a massage from her. Don't health regulations require showers in mp's ? They should.
Post when you have showers, and I will visit.

The ladies wash after every massage, I did not say we didn't have bathroom facilities available and thank you for thinking so low of my employees
We also spray the beds with anti-bacterial spray and the rooms are cleaned after every visitor
