Now that I think of it I never played at those sorta establishments as a child. We mainly went to like those indoor gyms🤣

Funland Arcade - ahhh high school memories
I remember that place well. I also had a convenience store across the street from my high school that had a Street Fighter II and later King of the Monsters cabinet. Lots of time spend after school or during lunch just watching people play.

I still remember the arcades around Yonge and Dundas.
That’s the place to go to play the latest games and for top competition. People in my area used to practice playing some fighting games in our neighborhood convince store then go there to challenge others.
