The world-record debt the Liberals accumulated in that time was magically erased and debt only started with Ford.

Look, I know immigration is a hot button topic. There are a lot of cons to the way this happened. But, on a purely economic level, we need more people. We have an aging population and a birthrate below replacement levels. This means we need new Canadians to help maintain our economy...and it is something the US and other countries might need to do soon as well. I look at Japan and wonder what is going to happen there, where they have a declining population...where the could have half their population by 2100.
