If it was easy to "set the record straight", you wouldn't have to ask. The answer is, yes and no, depending on the circumstances. Very Canadian.

As long as you are over the age of 18, do outcalls only and never make the deal in a 'public' place it is all legal.
The public place is the tricky thing, some place you would think to be considered private are actually considered 'public'. For instance if they wanted to be real pricks you could be nailed for soliciting if you make the deal in a car parked in the middle of the woods with nobody around.
