Wedding Ring

I may be an outlier.
I have been married for 30 years.
And my wedding ring has been on my key ring, not my finger for about 25 years.
It would get in the way when i was scrubbing up at work.
So I started keeping it on the key ring.
No groove on my finger, just lots of little nicks and scars from toil over the years, providing for the family.
Now adult children live sort of at home, but do thier own thing.
Wife has her hobbies

keep the ring on, it puts the SP at ease, it shows that at least another woman found you tolerable to marry you.

I wear a ring only when I see a SP. (Happily divorced) I prefer the illusion of taken, so back off. I don't bring up any marriage talk. The ring speaks for me.
I leave mine on when seeing sp's. Sometimes it strikes up a conversation and breaks the ice. Other times during planned rp sessions it adds an element of taboo/naughtiness when the sp knows your taken but still wants to fuck you anyways.
The one time a SP brought up marriage after seeing my ring on my way out asked if I had kids. I told her I can't recall if I have 4 or 5. She gave me an extra special hug and a free session.
I call that using sympathy for a gain. Others might call it deception.

thanks for sharing it Ponderling , 100 percent respect. You’ve done your responsibilities as a father and a husband. I think you and I are in the same age range maybe more for me. I kept mine on all the time.

In your experience does the topic or question of the client having a wife/gf or not come up in comversation a lot?
Neither my wife nor I wear our rings.

I take mine off in a session, mainly because I don’t want a reminder of her when it’s “me” time. However, this thread makes me think that perhaps I should keep it on. OK, today I’ll try that.
