I need a webcam. Just something to use to see/hear family and friends overseas.

Any thoughts on good cam's? whats a $100 cam do that a $25 doesn't? Do all cam's come with voice?

Help pls!

To be honest, I have used a few webcams of varying price and for the most part, they were all similair. The only noteworthy difference I noticed was that Logitech cameras provide better picture quality.

That's it? So the difference between a $25 and $100 webcam is slightly better picture quality????

Buy a cheap one then.

better sensor on the more expensive webcam. This means:

1. better low-light performance
2. cleaner picture (less digital noise)
3. better transmission over the internet (less digital noise = smaller sized file = smoother transmission)
