My wife and I both go to Bode Spa for sugar waxing. It is mainly a men's spa but they will see ladies too. The sugaring is way better than regular waxing or shaving as regular wax takes a layer of skin off where the sugar only sticks to the hair. Shaving can just be a recipe for disaster plus you need to do it every other day to stay clean. We go every 6 weeks and by the end of the 6 weeks it is time but it is nice to be clean and tidy down there (it is very much appreciated by anyone who visits down there I can tell you!!!). They do all sorts of hair removal but the most common is the Brazillian.
They are located just off of Laurier past UOttawa. There are women on staff if you don't feel comfortable with a man touching you ;-)
It only takes about 20-30min and doesn't tickle but it is so worth it. I've been going for almost 2 years now and the hair grows back lighter and lighter each time.

I know there is one girl that works there (maybe more) - I wouldn't call her a hostess ��- she has real training in this. I've had her do the sugaring on me before but she is still a rookie and it wasn't the greatest job. In honesty the best person is the owner, Daniel. He's been doing this for more then 15 years and has the expertise I want when someone is ripping hair out of my twig and berries if you get my drift. Think of it as you are going to the doctor ��. He does both my wife and I but if you aren't comfy with that you can ask for a girl. There are NO extras - this is a legit business. They will get you ready for the place you go for the extras....
