Watched this one when it came out. Russian movie. Bit of a downer. But what would you expect? Full movie available on Youtube.

Entertaining but not based on historic events, The dirty dozen, pure fiction. Very loosely base on an event of allied troops going after Nazi gold, Kelly's Heroes. Bases on a event of a bridge being built by the Japanese, Bridge On The River Kwai. In actual fact the camp commander was not brutal at all and did not commit war crimes. A British officer that was a prisoner at the camp traveled back to Asia after the war to testify on the behalf of the camp commander to spare his life.
