Smart to keep an eye on your drink at bars.

This sort of behaviour is turning into an epidemic. Never ever leave your drink unattended in a bar or club. Liquor laws do not allow washrooms to be licensed so most bars and clubs make you leave your drink outside. You are better to finish the drink then hit the ladies room.

Lot's of creepy guys out there these days it seems. Not cool!

I know this thread is a week old, but I had an experience once at the bar, I set my drink down on a ledge for a minute, I stepped a few feet away from the drink...ample time for someone to slip something in...(the drink that is!) jk..anyway, I went back to my drink, grabbed it and headed to the dance floor. I was with a couple of my guy friends at this point and when I was walking towards the dance floor, I tripped a bit on my shoe. Another guy had seen this, and immediately came rushing over. He thought one of the guys I was with had slipped something into my drink and walked away with me. The fact that I had tripped, probably looked like I was suddenly incoherant. He was ready to drop my friend because of his suspicions!

So I guess there are as many men, (and women) looking out for others too. Then again, maybe he thought he'd be rescuing the damsel in distress, and get to know me! Never know, but the fact is, it's scary, and you are right rsoloman, it's a good idea to finish your drink first. It's worth the extra wait.
