...is the new nickname for the NFL team, "Red Tails" would have been the better name to honour the Tuskegee Air Men.

Command and Conquer?

Anything is better than their previous name.

Now that the Eskimos and Indians have changed, when will the Blackhawks, Chiefs and Braves make a move?

I will admit, I used to love the Blackhawks jersey. It was iconic and looked really cool. But, I think they could easily transition it into an actual Blackhawk bird, and keep the colour scheme intact.

Redtails would have been good.

"Chiefs" and "Braves" words have nothing to do with native north americans:

Chiefs originates from the french word "Chef"-meaning ruler, leader
Braves originates from Italian : bravo ‘bold’ or Spanish : bravo ‘courageous

BlackHawks is the only offensive word.

I would have preferred "commandos".

BTW: The McGill men's sports teams are now named "Redbird". Kind of close to "Redtail".

They might have originated in other languages, but the images they use, like this:

Now, the Chiefs isn't as bad, it's an arrow head. But the do the tomahawk chop, which is pretty offensive in First Nations. Obviously the Braves do it as well.

I disagree about the Blackhawks. The name was taken from a military division in the first world war. That name was taken from an actual indigenous historical figure. The logo is beautiful and respectful.

Their new black uniforms are nice. I like the font they used for the numbers.
