trump is both whining that nobody will help him and bragging that he totally destroyed all of Iran at once.

Whether the deficit is entirely a result of U.S.$ reserve currency or that in combination with U.S. policy to force the U.S.$ as reserve because
of their declining industrial capacity doesn't really matter, the point being that current U.S. economic power relies on maintaining that status quo.
The Petro$ is not the global norm as it was and slipping fast.
Iran's motivation to go off the U.S.$ may have been the result of the sanctions, but the switch to yuan or other trading units was already underway
because of China's emerging power and consequentially, leverage on the global financial system. And growing fast.
This is not strictly about Iran, it's about Iran as a key step to enforcing $ dominance on a greater level.
Iran exposed the elephant in the room saying only countries trading in yuan would be let through.
I agree, maybe if the U.S. was fairer in practice from the onset, this wouldn't be happening at this moment.
The China project's impact on the financial system is undeniable and inevitable.

Lost in the mass of other details is what Hormuz does to helium shipping along with what energy costs in america will do to AI farms.
AI is a bubble that could pop with increased costs since it can't make money yet and that's the only growth in the states.
They don't have to state their objectives, would you believe them if they did?

It's about doing the math and connecting the dots, and of course, this is only my opinion.

Well if dollar dominance was their goal, then this war seems to have backfired on it, and exposed the need for de-dollarization even more.

I only know what I would like to see, but nobody knows the whole truth of why, how it's really playing out, how its going to escalate and to what extent.
I don't get optimistic about any of this based on daily, weekly reporting, expert opinions, etc.
I don't buy that the U.S. got sucked in, they have no plan, etc., this is way too serious for any of that.
The level of propaganda, deceit, covert activity, social mind control manipulation is beyond our imaginations.
I hope for the best but prepare myself for the most gruesome possibilities.
There really is nothing to be optimistic about right now.
There will be way more needless and stupid death in Gaza, Palestine, Lebanon, Israel, Iran and the gulf.

Well, their plan is clear.
Destroy, destabilize and turn Iran into a failed state.
I still think Israel and the US have different strategic goals.
However, the end result is to destroy and weaken Iran, which I think is clear enough at this point.
What else could be the point of an illegal war?
