If this is true, BYE BYE midterms, while at the same time, it's an unfit individual running the US military, scary shit!!! It will be the biggest blue wave anyone has ever seen before.

I suspect this is a cancel the midterm war.

Trump only cares about himself.
He doesn't care about the mid terms or 2028, because he isn't going to be running in any of that.
He will just mess things up like he usually does with his businesses and leave it for others to clean up after him.

I believe he does fear the midterms because losing them would mean losing total control, and that raises the risk of impeachment. I know it would still take a lot to get a conviction in the Senate, but imagine a scenario where the midterms turn into a complete disaster for Republicans. In that case, some within the party might decide to throw Trump under the bus to protect themselves and distance the party from him ahead of the 2028 elections. If that happened, impeachment and a possible conviction could become a more realistic option.

I wish that happens. Senate and House both dems and they impeach him.
However, I dont think it will make a difference in US involvement in this war as most of these senators and house reps are all on AIPAC payroll on both sides of the aisle.
