Apparently, Walter Cronkite (age 92) has passed on or is very close to passing on.
Now, there is somebody who's passing is a genuine loss.

How ironic. He was the first to do the moonwalk. Michael Jackson copied him.

People, he's not dead yet! Just in serious condition, whatever that means. But at 92 it can't be long.

You're thinking of Neil Armstrong.
Now that will be a day of mourning when he dies.
I for one, will stand and salute his casket as it passes.

I do not agree.

He was chosen because of his great Avuncular appearance and mustache which alone disqualifies him as you are influenced by his appearance. It is too hard to listen objectively to someone who looks like that

i never found his reporting to be insightful

he just reinforced the dogma of the day with a liberal bend to it but it is still the dogma of the day

never reported on third world conditions caused by American corporations and how they established dictatorships for political stability

he was the one who reported the moon landing and he never once gave the other side of the story being that it was a retarded idea

never once stood up for the rights of SP's and Johns

He was a nice guy but what did he do that was so great?
