I'm a little cynical about this because the Niagara Parks Commission had a policy against stunts to protect the public (from themselves). i.e., if we allow dangerous stunts, it will just encourage more of them and very quickly someone will get killed.

Now they're allowing this and I think it's in no small part because Niagara Falls (the city) is suffering economically. So what was once deemed irresponsible is now deemed to be a money-maker.

My 2 cents.

indeed ... but I wonder if could handle it if he did fall to his death?
Very true, that said there will surely be plenty of folks there with cameras and camcorders taping the whole event to save it all, no matter what the outcome is....;)

They allow this stunt but not SP's. Go figure. A man could die but a man isn't allow paid sex with another consenting adult.

They are allowing applications for stunts once every 20 years now
I think it should be more often...bring more tourists to our city...we need it

You missed that this walk starts in Canada?

Correction: he says he has not firmly made up his mind in which direction he will walk.

And since US Customs is playing the role of being the 'biggest Dickheads' lately...
