And I still don't think it will. Lieberman has been supportive of McCain for months and will no doubt campaign for him, but McCain doesn't need a more liberal carbon copy of himself to be his running mate. He has to pick someone of solid conservative credentials or his fragile base in the GOP will evaporate.frasier said:

Did it make you sick in 2000? I'd rather see a second term of Gore-Lieberman than Bush-Chaneyassoholic said:..the thought of Lieberman as VP makes me sick.
Agreed. Lieberman represents Israel more than he represents his home state of Connecticut. Thats why he is so in favor of the war. He may be used to try to draw the Jewish vote toward McCain.WoodPeckr said:Lieberman would never be picked for VP.
Lieberman is a useful tool for the GOP, nothing more.
Joe is a political flake of really remarkable proportions. I give McCain enough credit that he wouldn't use him for anything more than bringing in stray independents to vote for him. Regardless the GOP would have to approve his choice for VP at the convention, and guess what? Joe has a snowballs chance in hell.WoodPeckr said:Lieberman would never be picked for VP.
