B complex vitamins are supposed to increase your energy. Don't expect to find a vitamin that will dramatically or noticably change your life, they just don't exist.
I take a multiple just to make sure I am getting everything that I need. I also take extra vitamin C (have gone without a cold for two years), and CO-Q10 which is supposed to be a wonder supplement.
For energy improvement I exercise and minimize carbs.

From what I understand, Centrum is a synthetic supplement, and doesn't work the same as a "natural source" vitamin, natural source being actual ingredients taken from real plant sources. It would come down to bioavailability, getting the properties of real plant phyto factors compared to a synthetic blend that mimics.

Ginkgo Biloba as a dietary supplement will help to improve memory and aid circulation.

Ginseng to increase endurance and stamina

Essential fatty acids(omega 3 & 6)

It's better to ask your family doctor or seek the services of a natural health and nutrition counselor when choosing a vitamin therapy. Many people don't realize that it is possible to overdose on vitamins! Same with mineral supplements. In rare cases, it can even be fatal. So don't screw around -- get professional advice.

Good luck,

..c..

Until you've been sick, and bounced back from taking a vitamin regiment.

I use a multi-vitamin from GNC called Megamen. I take two capsules per day, one in the morning and one in the evening. I'm not sure of the name, but they also have one designed especially for women.

The reason why you dont get much from a multi-vitamin is because they cant fit enough of each vitamin in one pill.
Buy them separately in larger milligrams and you'll feel the difference

PL, good info. Since most of use don't consume enough Vitamin via natural means thru Veg intake. Vit supplement is good source. Just don't over do it. Follow recommended intake level as few Vitamin at too high level, like everything else can lead to side-effects.

Best natural way to improve energy is to start working out, builds up your fatigue-tolerance level.

As for improving memory, there's no better way to do it but by putting it to use. read, remember, think, write etc. You brain develops when you put it to use, not by taking vitamins, just like your muscles grow when you work out, not by taking vitamins.

good luck girl! ;)
