All of a sudden when I try and do searches in Explorer, it slows to a crawl. I routinely do searches and its never been a problem until now. I didn't change any settings and I've scanned for hidden viruses or malware but nothing. Rebooting doesn't help either. And I'm fully patched up.
Any ideas what could be causing this?
EDIT: It seems to be a problem searching/accessing files from hard drives. I've run a Western Digital Data Lifeguard Diagnostic but no problems were found...
EDIT 2: I think I've traced the problem to one particular drive. All the others I can access files from quickly but this drive takes a long time to read/write...
