So is this another Microshaft cash grab? Fuck that, greedy cocksuckers!!

Is linux easy to use, or learn to use? Any tutorials online that I could have a look at? Will firefox work with linux?

Thanks.
How is DRM a MS cash grab? Apple has DRM too. If you own a video game console it most likely has DRM as well.

As for Vista, I like. However, I'd probably tell peopleto wait 2 - 3 months before upgrading if they can just to wait for drivers and such to catch up.

I was referring to upgrade, not buying a new computer. I know you don't have a choice then.
Sure you do. Just don't buy from Dell, Futureshop, ...

Even with them, you should still be able to insist on them installing XP or get the computer without an OS and do it youself.

I have mixed feelings about Vista. On the one hand, the aero windows and other improvements are nice. But it's been very unreliable so far. Vista keeps crashing, unlike XP. I have never gotten the blue screen with XP, and using ctrl+alt+del amost always allowed me to bail out of a problem. Vista has shown me the blue screen several times, and often freezes completely, forcing me to reboot. I hope they have some kind of patch for all these problems soon.

Why? If someone wants that they can build their own machine. Those places don't even have XP in stock anymore.

ctrl+alt+del works fine for me in Vista and I haven't had any blue screens yet. :)
