This is great news for the security guard industry. They popped up like weeds during the pandemic. Now they will literally be like a cockroach infestation on the subways, street cars and busses.

The powers that be, thought automated video cameras recording every square centimetre inside every TTC vehicle would be a deterrent. They forgot to realize that people of no fixed address have nothing to lose and don’t give a shit about being recorded.

Its time to throw some of these repeat offenders in jail or knock them around a bit rather than treat them with kit gloves.
