Jeep wrangler can not tow for sh*t since the wheel base is so short, I think my honda civic is rated to tow bigger loads than my previous car; a jeep wrangler.
A 4 door wranglers wheelbase is sufficiently long to tow most crap urban folks carry

I'm sure these are base model, basic 2 door, probably no features. Both my dad and my wife's dad have 4 door XTR's and they are very nice, but I doubt they are on 350/month leases.
It is the 2 year lease that is unheard of that makes me think they have more of these vehicles than they know what to do with.

One option I forgot is to get an F150 and have a dual fuel Propane option. Propane is about 1/2 the price of gasoline. So you will get rid of one car, keep your fuel costs roughly the same and you can write of the conversion kit since it is a business expense. DONE!!!Another option is a used Mercedes ML350 CDi that can pull a boat like that quite easily and still get around 25 mpg...
My company used to use propane. Mileage sucks. It's cleaner burning, but you don't really save anything.

The milage is less then half of gasoline? If its 20% less you are still saving quite a bit.

depending on how much you want to spend and the cost of fuel/diesel in your area either Ford F150 Ecoboost or Ram 1500 Ecodiesel. Considering anything else is a waste of time imo if you want some towing capacity and reasonable fuel mileage.

Fun yes, reliable? Hell no!

I had a brand new Wrangler for over three years and never had it break on me on the trail. The only problem that I ever had was hitting a deer on the way to offroading event and it ruined my suspension. After that I started getting "death shakes" when I would hit couple of small bumps on the road going about 50 km/h. Went for alignments and tried fixing but couldn't figure out the problem. Thats why I had to get rid of it. Damn dear.

I like it too. Has AWD, can tow 4500 lbs, and 365hp. The only thing I wasn't able to easily find out is if a 4x8 sheet of plywood will lay on the floor with the back seats out.
Found this quote on fordflex.net

"You can fit 8' with the seats flat - and we fit a 10' 2x4 with the front passenger flat as well. A 4'x8' does NOT fit... not even diagonally. (I was very sad to figure this out a week after buying the flex) However... it can tow a trailer that they'll fit on, so that'll be my option should I become a homeowner again."
