Are any of them insisting that staff and dancers be vaccinated.
This new strain is making me and several other patrons that I have discussed this with very nervous.
There is talk of boycotting clubs that allow unvaccinated staff and dancers to work there.

It's generally understood, from previous discusions here, that Pigale's manager is anti vax and the staff, dancers included, do not have to be vaccinated.

For a boycott you need organization and that is hard enough in areas where there isn't stigma.

I went into Club 77 the other week and offered to show my vax info and the door guy just waved me in, didn't want to see it.

The question is : Are they asking the servers and dancers, especially the dancers, for proof of vaccination. The servers in my experience have been very good at masking when serving tables etc

I have had at least 2 dancers tell me they had no intention of ever getting vaccinated.

Straight up...the clubs are not asking their employees/strippers if they are or are not vaccinated. It's unfortunate. But unless it's mandated...anti-vaxers will refuse. And it is common knowledge that Pigales owner is a big anti-vaxer. So he could give a hoot unless threatened to be shut down. Govt mandates a check of patrons but not employees/strippers...how this makes sense...who knows? Nowadays we live in the upside down world.

IMHO...too many patron have been couped up so long that many are willing to take chances that we'd normally wouldn't. I too have had the little head do too much of the thinking this fall. I'll admit...when the Omicron news hit...I have not yet ventured back (and I was looking forward to trying out Bar 77). Would my thinking change if I knew employees/strippers were also vaccinated... ...might have to transform into a groundhog and resurface when spring is back ...

Just curious....would you change your mind if you had known for sure that employers checked employees/stripers? I'm trying to decide also...

See, that's why calling these girls out is probably a bad idea. Unlike reviews were there is usually a history so you can have a chance of spotting real from fake, it's easy as pie... sweet delicious pie to rubbish someone with a "she told me she wasn't vaccinated" I've seen some rather unstable and catty strippers who I could easily see doing this [at other clubs]

I am on team vaxx side but I could see the possibilities of abuse in this particular situation.

lets all agree to spread the news for the first club to announce that they are checking the dancers for proof of vaccination before allowing them access. Extra accolades if they also insist on staff being fully vaccinated.

The hope being that if one club does it the others will follow.

Sure, but the vaccination report has their name on it, which few dancers are willing to show.
Then, you'd have to check it against their photo id ...

Those smartphone vaccination certificates are very easy to counterfeit. I have 2 not too smart friends that have done them up and go to restaurant and Pigale with them.

My QR code doesn't work for some reason.
Fortunatly only once have they scanned it and I still got in.

It's not worth the risk to me to go. If the club operators guaranteed that all working the clubs were fully vaccinated, then yes, but I guess they have too much money to care?
