Hey guys

What percentage of you have had a vasectomy?

Was the procedure painful?

Are you happy with the results?

Is it painful? No but there is some discomfort for the first few days. Just follow your doctor's orders. Once you get it done get checked after about 2-3 months to make certain all swimmers are gone. I'd also suggest getting retested at the 1-year mark just to be certain. Once confirmed you're now safe from being sued for making any more babies/child support.

I guess that beats refusing to have sex which is what I did with my ex.

I've had 2.

It grew back after 7 months. Yes I also had a level check at 3 months and it showed zero.

Wasn't bad. No heavy lifting and frozen veggies for swelling... It looked like I had a black eye on my sack

“Just do it”.

Had mine shortly after the 2nd child. Painful? Yes if the Dr doesn’t wait for the freezing to kick in.

Nothing like having a scalpel over your jewels and knowing you can’t twitch an inch, and it feels like rope is being pulled out of your abdomen. And having to clench your teeth and tense leg muscles so much you develop a muscle cramp. Then having the surgeon call in a pretty young thing to massage your calf while he goes to work on your jewels..with a scalpel in his hand.

That said, a bag of frozen peas at home and good for 18 the next day

OUCH. I'd suspect the strain of swinging the clubs and walking would stress that area causing more pain and swelling. If not, you got real lucky since doctors don't want you to strain that area for a couple of weeks.

well let’s just say it wasn’t my best 18, and I avoided walking it. But I did keep the T time. The procedure itself? If the hack I had the misfortune of meeting who couldn’t wait 5 more minutes to begin. Most of my friends/family similar experiences. A day or two with frozen peas.

Yes, had it done years ago. Would not want to go through it again, the buring smell from cauterizing makes you uneasy. Relatively painless, discomfort for a few days. My only regret is cum shots are now not mouthfuls nor white. So if you into cim and the visual, that is not possible anymore.

Ya, my doc as he was doing it and there was smoke rising from my crotch said “I’m frying your vas now”. No shit!

Odd that you noticed a drop in volume. Sperm are supposed to only make up < 5% of semen volume.

Had it done about 10y ago (no scalpel technique). Moderate pain for a few days (a couple frozen water bottles kept in the fridge at work were my friends at the office). I was one of the small percentage that got pain afterwards, basically only after cumming. The first few shots afterwards were pretty sore (bad ache in the balls). After that the severity dropped to the point where it was fairly minor, but a mild pain after an orgasm. That happened for several months, maybe a year. Still, was glad I did it, no regrets, wish I had done it sooner.

Just make sure you follow doctors orders and get tested for swimmers.

GTA & Thereabouts...
I’m the guy with the worst experience…. Felt absolutely everything during the procedure as the “freezing” didn’t work. Excruciating pain. Swelled up so much that the stitches popped too.

I have. The worst part for me was being groggy for a day and a half only. They told me they would only put me into a twilight stage, not put me totally out. But I was out like a light and felt nothing. As far as "down there" pain after, just a dull ache for a couple days.

2 kids , I had it done. As surgical procedures go , relatively simple and tolerable - during and recovery. Just local anaesthetic/freezing as I recall. Lots easier for the male to be snipped, than for a female to have tubes tied .
Giving birth is a whole different level of pain.
