Vasectomies - Have they made your sex lives better?

My 70+ year old Italian barber asked if I've been snipped (yes) and does my junk all work (yes)? Fucking hilarious broken-English conversation from a guy I've know for 25+ years.

He couldn't believe my wife let me as he said it allowed me to be with other women. That got me thinking...

Having a vasectomy hasn't improved Jack Shit for me with the wife. SPs and new civilians are condoms. As a young man, with my GFs (and now wife) I'd shoot the box without fear as they were good looking and our kids would be amazing. (I now have amazing kids).

Have vasectomies made your sex lives better? Does it improve your chances with ladies once they find out? Am I wasting my vasectomy years?

ever since having the snip there is a lot less of a stress when it comes to having sex. even though I wore condoms and they were on the pill there is always that fear that I would knock them up. Ive had my vasectomy for over 15 years, and I always wished I got it sooner.

Made my life better when my kids were little and wife and I lovingly devoted all kinds of time to them.
When wife and I could summon the time and energy to bop after the 2 and 4 year old were to bed, I could blast deep with no wrapper.
That is the best feeling to me.

And knowing another dear child to consume more of my energy would not happen, that was a selfish plus.

The other side of this issue is showing dear wife you care.
There are some risks to her from taking birth control pills for decades.
Or there were back in the 2000's when I got snipped.

Lack of any worry whatsoever about pregnancy makes sex life better for sure. Tho my regular sex life at home did not improve as much as hoped.

No regrets here either. As the saying goes: "Vasectomy means never having to say you're sorry."
Exact sentiments as Ponderling above. Much easier for me to get the snip, than drugs or other more invasive procedures for women.

For those who go for the snip, it's important to get tested for swimmers before you get the all clear. I still had swimmers present 3 months afterwards. So I had to wait another 3 months and get tested again before my jizz was clear.

get tested regularly within the first year. I tested after 3 months and zero swimmers. fast forward 6 months later and I knocked up the gf. 1 in 5000 are the odds of reattaching.

Absolutely no guarantee you will be shooting blanks. A cover is good insurance whether snipped or not.

which is why I get tested for zero before any BB with a new gf. fifteen years later still shooting blanks. kind of defeats the purpose of a vasectomy wearing a cover with the girl friend though. I asked the doctor on the second round to take extra off just to be sure

I was encouraged by doctor at time of procedure to get the pipes cleared well out so I would pass the three month mark test .

Once the sutures healed there was lots of hand jobs and oral lovin from dear wife to make sure no motile ones hanging out in dead end vas pipes.

Took the checkered flag on the first lap when it came to getting the all clear.

Good point. And… your tubes can eventually reattach. I got tested twice at the 5 and 10 year anniversaries.

(Although, I know my urologist tied my tunes in a knot in case they reattached, so I was never worried)
