Varadero Cuba

I have booked a cheapo holiday in Varadero. I was there 5 years ago with SO and small children, so no action.

Anybody know where to find action there?

No Where

Varadero is a no go for action. A trip to Havana is required, the Havana Club and Johnnies, both great spots.

Varadero no go

I would not recommend Varadero as a hobby/mongering destination.
I would recommend Havana & the eastern beaches of Havana/Playa de este area or Cienfuegos,there's way better action in these 2 places,i've been to cuba 10 times,the past 2 times to cienfuegos & i had so much fun.The resorts are better in Varadero,but Castro built Varadero strictly for couples & families

I hear what you are saying, and from my last trip, I can see that is the case. But I have bought the trip, (single) and was hoping for some advice on how to find some company in Varadero.

No action in Varaderro from "professionals". Too strict if they get caught. Don't even think about trying to hook up with resort staff. Go to the night clubs, tons of action from amateurs, locals, and other tourists. If you don't get laid there, have a rum and cigar and chill on the beach. I've had more Cuban action here in TO than in Cuba.

Varadero

I have been a regular visitor of the Varadero area since 1981. I have connected with several ladies while riding the bicycle within a 100 km. perimeter from Varadero. Stopped in local cafes, lunch stops or bistros, and initiated conversations with locals. You would be surprised how well that works. Some friends have tried that, driving rented cars and have had very little success. The appeal of the rich tourist trying to buy the girls does not seem to work there.

if u wanna rent a moped or take a taxi with someone else,go to the city of Cardenas & make your way to the El rapido fast food outdoor cafe,while there there should be 1 or 2 semi-pros hanging around looking 2 solve your problem.If you are approached by guy asking you if you what cigars,rum,drugs or whatevers,just reply chica & he'll find you 1.
