Thanks to those who DID show up, including some of Farrah/Jenna's friend and some who attended specifically to meet her. It was good to make some new friends and some new very very very special friends.

For those who made it out, I was wondering how many actually showed up and if this information could be used to draw any kind of inference about the validity (or lack thereof) of TERB Polls.

Well, there were 6 males and 4 females (but Remy was only there part time as she 'got stuck' in the bar, so perhaps it should be 3.5). I think one thing that made it good was the smallish size (at least for a newcomer to the parties, such as myself): it provided a more relaxed/intimate ambiance (after getting past the stage of thinking to yourself "who are these people?").

Yes, I think the smaller size made for an enjoyable evening as we all let our guards down more then we would have at a larger gathering.

Ride cancelled...

I'm sorry I missed it. My ride cancelled as their car ended up being in the shop. So I decided at the last minute not to public transit... way too far for that. Maybe next time.
