Justin and his wife just had the AZ jab live on TV. We can now sleep easy knowing that the vaccine is safe. End of vaccine hesitancy.
I got my 1st shot earlier this week, no side effects, no change!! I've heard on the news that if you have a strong immune system, you should be fine after getting the shot. But of course I'm not a doctor!!!
No. Conspiracy theory was a term coined by the FBI. I'm just saying some logical things to gauge people's perceptions and thoughts. The only thing that's happened was people white knighting the love of masks and vaccines while ignoring the fact that even as the experts have said "the vaccine will not prevent you from getting covid" you're immune system will be more prepared though. With the vaccine passport coming, it looks like the Chinese credit system is coming to Canada and covid is being used as a stepping board for totalitarian control. That's something I hope we can all agree is bad and we should prevent.

So let me get this straight. We have all of these rules on this board in order to keep dialogue civil and steer it away from causing harm but we allow ignorant conspiracy theories propagated to deny facts and science putting everyone at risk? Mention that someone's rates are a bit too high for the industry and risk getting banned, spew false information meant to promote fear and you have one of the most popular threads??? I really dont get it.
The key word is Reactogenicity. Whenever our immune system Is challenged ,such as when we are vaccinated, some cells in our body release substances that cause inflamation. That is known as Reactogenicity. For a large majority of us it means no more than some mild pain and swelling at the site of injection. However, for a few of us. our immune system over reacts and inflammatory substances are released all over the body. When this happens the common symptoms are fever, muscle pain and headaches. Some of us are more prone to Reactogenicity than others and it is why some of us feel quite very sick after a vaccine and most of us do not.
No disrespect to Justin and his wife but aren't there better people to promote vaccinations? Wayne Gretzky? Nathan MacKinnon? Seth Rogan? Keanu Reeves? At a minimum, they would appeal to a different audience than Justin and his ilk
even if you dont give a shit about risk to your pwn health - there is the wider public good that is at stake. Sure odds favor if you are infected that you will just have mild symptoms or be asymptomatic - but you can transmit to others. Promotion is needed as there is a 20% plus core of people who do not want to get vaccinated; be it flu or a proven vaccine like one for COVID. Its far more effective than flu vaccine
The fact that they have to promote them is the issue. If there were no issues with them, everyone would get them. I haven't been severely sick or gotten the flu for over 5 years now. This should make you wonder why the agenda for vaccination is so dam strong now compared to before despite at least me being in better health. Logically, if you are good and healthy, why get a vaccine? Look at the list of ingredients in a vaccine and real life data comparing unvaccinated to vaccinated children. There are toxic chemicals in vaccines. If they cared about your health, organic food would be plentiful and cheaper to the public. They wouldn't recommend vaccines for your health. You can have a shitty diet, poor stress management and not yet enough sleep. These need to be rectified first and foremost. The scary part is people are losing jobs, relief money that was supposed to help people has been misused and mismanaged and it's leading to a social credit system and talks of a vaccine passport. Your family doctor would already have your immunization records and it is kept private/ confidential. Why would you willingly replace your privacy for attention? Is our society filled with so much low self esteem? Think on what's happening as a whole and check your health first. Get your vaccine if you're not feeling sick and if you want to. Get fresh air outside with some exercise and good sleep, eat healthy if you can, don't harm yourself because the vaccines will just make you sick if you neglect yourself first.
Not to mention that vaccine companies have lobbied Governments so you cant sue them anymore, I wonder why, could have lost too much money from law suits due to their serious side effects. Maybe health can't be protected or fixed so easily or quickly.

I've changed my mind on vaccines. I got mine about 2 weeks ago and although I am fine, I just found out my brother's cat got herpes 3 years ago. Not normal herpes but ninja space herpes obviously caused by my getting the vaccine.
So for the love of our feline overlords, don't get the vaccine.

I’ll advertise that I’m vaccinated when I get mine in a couple weeks.
Great to hear, I started the thread to see if ladies will be advertising their vaccine status, not debate the efficacy of vaccines. Been out of the game since Covid started and will only return once I am vaccinated and will only visit providers who have been vaccinated. Naturally providers are a risk as they are in close contact with multiple people. Other people can do other things and but safety is important to me. I would hope one point of this forum is to promote safety.

I considered not getting vaccinated based on your n of 1 experiment showing that you haven’t been sick in 5 years. Then I read that Israel has got ~60% of their population vaccinated. ZERO covid deaths yesterday. ZERO. Only 120 new cases per day, population 9 million. Bars, restaurants and shopping open. Near normal life.
