V-Day Question

Now this is an interesting question. In some way I'm thinking, what nicer V day gift to yourself. But if you truly love/like your SO, then I suppose it depends on your own guilt threshhold ... if it's going to spoil the experience with the SP, and make you gringe when you get home and look your SO in the eye, then why waste your money. Probably better to spend it on a nice gift for her.Quaggitty said:

But I've never been married, so I may lack perspective on this.
to me is just another day like the others but to my wife is like "the day" and is been driving me crazy asking me what r we gonna do,i told her many times that its a surprise but in reality i have no idea where to take her,any suggestions from anyone would be nice.thanx.
thinking that way, you shouldn't be even seeing sps if you are married, simple. because it's also crual to see sps any other days then.yeet said:

i'd say "original" and not like those people who just follow some stupid system and rules. it doesn't have to be only today to show them love! it should be everyday already! those women who believe it's today are just as stupid as the system.
i think from a moral perspective....since you bring it up...i'd feel somewhat 'guilty' on seeing an sp on our anniversary rather then any other day...mind u...even seeing an sp on my anniversary would've been time well spent (ouch) lol...Quaggitty said:

It is just another retail motivated day after Christmas and before Easter. Do something for yourself and buy the SO that box of chocolates and some fine diamonds to keep the peace.
