Upgrade: What time is it ?

The page says the time is GMT -5Hrs.
The page said the time was 9:22 when I started this.
My clock says it's 2:25 in the morning.
What gives ?
Why doesn't it do the arithmetic ?

I suspect you need to replace the cmos battery on your motherboard.

Considering that his post was made at 2:24 I think his clock is just fine, it is the time setting in his user cp on the board that is off.

Go to the user cp > edit options and set the time offset to GMT

Thanks Sasha. Stupid of me. I thought I was in Ontario and had selected GMT-5 for US and Canada Eastern Time.

You are quite right. When I tell the server I'm in England everything is perfect. Thanks.

Things are great in England except for the computers that don't know how to calculate time offsets.
