even if you do get a SIM card for you phone from Rogers... they still need an unlock code to program it with you ph # and that phone's unlock code belongs to FIDO so Rogers would not be able to program it with you're phone #. It can be used on Rogers network but technically it's Fido's phone...
i have an audio vox flip phone, and i never bothered to set a lock code, cuz it's a flip. anyway, the couple times i've locked it and can't unlock it, i just take out the battery, and restart.

good advice but that's a different 'lock' problem. Companies 'lock' cel phones so they cannot be used with other providers. There is a way to unlock them. But one gots to know someone on the inside (as in anything - its not what you know but who you know heh heh)
