I've lost count at how many women I've met during my post-secondary that do some sort of adult work to help them survive. It's expensive to go to school, not everyone comes from a family of financial means. I see no need for any school to pay any attention. Clearly she was a willing participant. I am of the opinion that they should deal with the raising cost of tuition, non-stop on campus drinking, and raising prof salaries first. Then, maybe, care about someone flashing a student ID. Silliness.

Student loans are an option, yes. Plus, it is quite easyto get funding from the huge headache that is OSAP. But, why put yourself in debt before you've even secured a job? Yes, it's "good" debt. Yes, most students accumulate it. I just don't think it's a must for every student, as I personally enjoy being free of any and all debt. Sitting in the positive and building towards a future you can feel stable with is a lovely thought, isn't it?

A part-time job is needed, usually one that requires 20 or so hours a week, on top of school work and depending on your program, it can be next to impossible to juggle. I'm not saying sex work is for anyone, actually I say it's for the few, but if you can handle it, and it improves the quality of your life, feel free to do so.
