Seriously though... the whole workplace harrassment thing is heavily slanted towards women. I had a situation where a chick I was 'workplace friends' with (spoke to her regularly, ate lunch with her and others in the cafeteria sometimes) made a joke that involved her holding a banana in HER mouth (note that his was her joke and her idea)...
I laughed with everyone else around the table... but because I mentioned that joke the next day, she decided to get pissed and complained... total fucking betrayal... I get burned for laughing/talking about HER rude joke. Nothing major happened to me, but I did have to apologize to her (!?!).
On the bright side, now nobody trusts her and I've returned the favour by totally cutting her out. And it's interesting that she recently tried to have a conversation with me... but I'm better off rolling around in poison ivy than letting my guard down around her.
If I didn't care about my job, I would have told her to fuckoff and threaten her and the company with a defamation suit.
But I do care about my job so I did the "right" (bullshit) thing.
And the worst I've heard was a guy in my head office who *will not* go into an elevator alone with any woman due to a similar bullshit complaint.... as you can imagine... a bullshit complaint, her word against his.... and she probably did it to get back at him for something comparatively small and stupid.
Only date someone you supervise if you are prepared to leave the company or be a total asshole and threaten to countersue.
